Botox (Botulinum toxin) injections are safe as long as the patient is above 12 years of age.
The following points need to be considered if one is taking a Botox treatment at younger age.
• It is not dependent on any habitual behaviour. A person could stop or resume taking Botox at any time during the lifetime.
• It never causes worsening of pre-existing ageing condition even if you stop having them.
• Botox delay the ageing process, early you start with more gracefully you will age.
Note: I believe Botox is not restricted to any particular age. So, if you have fine lines or such indication it is better to erase them.
Botox is safe to use in geriatric population as no evidence of adverse effects has been reported.
